Once again, golfers and donors have gathered to drive, chip and putt for Quantum Leap Farm. QLF’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament brings in a big slice of support for our equine therapy center’s funding and this year was a triumph.
Over 125 golfers from all over the United States attend this year’s Tournament at our new venue: Innisbrook Golf and Spa Resort in Palm Harbor. Foursomes teed off for some serious golf and even more serious fundraising. Proceeds from the Tournament provide scholarships for the challenged adults and children who participate in equine therapies at Quantum Leap Farm.
After the last round, everyone gathered in the banquet hall for a gourmet dinner where prizes are awarded to the winners, raffle items doled out, and a wealth of live and silent auction prizes items snapped up. The highlight of every Quantum Leap Farm Charity Golf Tournament is always the opportunity to meet some of Quantum Leap’s participants and hear their inspiring stories. This year we cheered for Mark Lalli, Army veteran and recent winner of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s Community Hero Award.
