There are coyotes beyond our pastures, but who knew there are cougars in the barnyard?! In late summer, Kathleen Slaven, President of Cougars of Florida, approached Quantum Leap Farm Founder, Edie Dopking, with a novel fundraising idea. Kathleen and her fellow cougars would create a 2013 calendar featuring Quantum Leap therapy horses, classic cars, and the Cougar Team. Edie jumped at it.
After the fun of photographing the art work at at the Farm and putting the calendar together, the friendship between the Cougars of Florida and Quantum Leap Farm has grown and grown. Now Cougars of Florida can be counted on to support and volunteer at most QLF events. They were a major presence at our 12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in early November.
