At the end of May, volunteers from BB&T Tampa worked hard on the farm, accomplishing major projects: Building a pole barn, putting a new floor in our flatbed trailer, cleaning our horse trailer, pressure washing the fence and more.
We are so grateful for their hard work and good company! Carlotta is already enjoying the shade of the barn and it will provide a nice break from the sun during the warm summer months. Many thanks to Rob Arnold from Mr. Auto Glass for the connection.
About the Lighthouse Project
Since the Lighthouse Project began in 2009, BB&T associates have contributed more than 500,000 volunteer hours and improved the quality of life for more than 15 million people.
The Lighthouse Project gives BB&T an opportunity to provide corporate financial support to local charities, while associates roll up their sleeves and go to work.
